We developed the Shameless Laundry Line, an initiative to address the shame many young adults feel about living at home. The intervention allowed them to share their frustrations anonymously on a clothesline, creating a sense of community and normalizing the conversation around this issue.
This project focuses on exploring the housing crisis affecting young adults aged 25-30. Through research and user testing, we aimed to uncover the struggles of this demographic, especially regarding affordability and accessibility of housing. The project involved creating personas, customer journey maps, and a strategic intervention to raise awareness.
I was responsible for conducting user research, creating personas and customer journey maps, and conceptualizing the intervention. I also contributed to evaluating the test results of the intervention, analyzing engagement, and assessing the effectiveness of the communication strategy.
The intervention was successful in fostering discussions among the target audience and highlighting the need for housing solutions tailored to young adults. The project also provided insights into the emotional and financial burdens they face and presented opportunities for future strategies aimed at addressing these concerns.
