Dwars & Co en de rampenregen is a thrilling children’s book filled with humor, adventure, and quirky characters. The story follows Stip, a mischievous “dwarsligger,” and his friends, as they deal with chaotic disasters in the city of Kronkeldonk. Their mission? To turn their bad habits into helpful acts while uncovering the mysterious source behind the town’s growing chaos.
Children aged 6-10, particularly those who enjoy humorous and adventurous stories that also contain important life lessons. The book targets early readers with short, action-packed chapters and vivid illustrations.
I was part of the creative team that developed a marketing campaign to promote Dwars & Co en de rampenregen. My responsibilities included conducting target audience research, creating personas, and designing an interactive concept. This led to the creation of the Dwarsliggers Examen—a puzzle-based card game designed to extend the book’s universe. Through interviews with children and collaboration with schools, I refined the concept to ensure it resonated with the target audience and enhanced their engagement with the book.
