Target Group

The target group for De Bossche Tapijtschuur is broad, since they would like to address younger couples moving in to their first house, but also people of age looking for new curtains. This meant that the article should be easy to read and understand, and explain the differences with simple words.

Challenges

One of the challenges I faced when writing this article was that I did not know much about kitchen curtains. I had to do a lot of research to learn about the different types of kitchen curtains and their pros and cons.

Another challenge I faced was that I had to write the article in a way that it would be timeless. I had to avoid phrases like “popular this year” that shorten the shelf life of the article. This made me reread the text to make sure any trends of this year would be deleted.

Process

The process of writing this article started with me doing research on kitchen curtains. Through all the articles I read, I summarized the pros and cons and put them against the other types of curtains to first understand for myself what it says. I then translated this into a clear text that anyone could read.

I started by writing an introduction that would provide background information on kitchen curtains. I then wrote about the different types of kitchen curtains and their pros and cons. I also wrote about how to choose the right kitchen curtains for your home.
